Testimonials From Satisfied Happy Faces Parents!
One of the saddest days of my life was dropping my daughter off at daycare after 8 weeks of maternity leave. However, after a week, I felt free. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers, Miss Sarada and Miss Berta, in the Wiggly Worms room. And at the end of the school year, I was crying for a different reason- because I was so sad to leave for the summer (I am a teacher and am off in summers). My daughter pushed away from me every morning to get to her teachers. Every day when I dropped off or picked up, the teachers made the effort to chat with me and tell me about my daughter’s day at school. They painstakingly make artwork with footprints, handprints, etc. to send home to the parents. They play educational music, educational games, and change the scenery for the kids when weather permits. The facility is extremely clean and safe- as evidenced by staff members always cleaning when I am there and always attentive to the babies. The staff is loving- often hugging me when I was sad at the beginning, or cuddling my daughter when she was upset. The only testimony I truly need, however, is my daughter’s smile when she arrives every morning. That tells me everything. Happy Faces is a reliable, kind, fun, and safe and I would recommend to all new parents.
We were looking for temporary childcare for our 20 month-old and were so happy we found Happy Faces! Our daughter absolutely loved it and learned so much. They worked with us to meet all of our needs and took great care of her. Our daughter has a peanut allergy and we felt every precaution was taken to prevent any issues. Se is still singing all of the fun songs she learned and talking about her classmates and teachers. We were sad to leave but so thankful for the experience! I definitely recommend Happy Faces!
“As first time parents, my husband and I were incredibly scared about putting our three month old in a childcare facility. After a difficult search, we found our home away from home. Happy Faces’ charming atmosphere made it impossible for any other daycare to compare. The building was beautiful, the class sizes felt comfortable, the playground was fun and age appropriate, the faculty had smiles on their faces, and the children were all engaged in activities. Six years later, we are now happy to say, both of our children thrived in the Happy Faces environment. Each class supported the necessary developmental milestones for our children’s age group. They provided fun activities all year long to help children learn and explore their world including meeting with librarians, magicians, art shows, reptile shows, Mother’s Day events, etc…. We are forever grateful to the staff for their kindness and the constant care they provided our family. Happy Faces helped mold our children into the bright, happy, and sweet children they are today.”
“My son who is four and half years old was going to Happy Faces Daycare. As a parent I don’t consider it as a daycare, but as a learning centre. They prepare the kids for their next endeavor. My son has improved a lot in his reading math and social skills. The teachers are so wonderful and they all personally got to know my son. That was important to me. Good luck for the whole team they are doing excellent job.”
“Happy Faces has been one of the best preschools for my daughter. She has been there for about 3 years and we absolutely love Ms. Gaby and Mrs. Jessica. It’s amazing how much my daughter learns from her and teachers every single day. I’m so blessed to have found Happy Faces. Thank you Mrs. Nayana and Mrs. Jessica for helping me shape my daughter to be an outstanding and Happy Faces was a blessing to find for our grand daughter. She needed a caring place that offered consistency and fun, after her home life was disrupted. We are so grateful to all the staff! She spend 4 years at Happy Faces. Bella received a great foundation for school and is doing wonderful in Kindergarten. She always will remember the fun activities, summer fun and teachers. I personally am very impressed with professionalism, cleanliness, safety and appearance of school and grounds! It’s a beautiful home away from home!”

“We have two children attending Happy Faces and we couldn’t be happier! They love going to school and the instruction is truly amazing. My daughter is learning things in preschool that I would not have expected until kindergarten (she’s 3). The art projects are also fantastic – they really keep the kids engaged and happy. Both of my kids talk about their teachers all the time and about things they are going to share with them. Happy Faces is a wonderful place – I feel so lucky to have found it. Also, as someone working part-time, the flexibility to have my kids go a few days/week vs. everyday is really helpful.”
“When we moved to the area Happy Faces was recommended to us by my sister-in-law for our three soon to be four year old. My sister-in-law raved about her son’s experience, so on visiting I was very impressed. I was impressed with Mrs. Nayana’s energy and knowledge. I was impressed by the friendly teachers, the cleanliness, the bright colors, the artwork all over the walls, etc. My daughter has been a student of Happy Faces for a little over a year and she is happy. We are happy with her teachers and her education. We plan for her to stay at Happy Faces until she starts school.”
“My son has been going to happy faces since he was 3 months old and he has always loved it there. He started bringing home “art” projects as young as 4 months and he has learned so much. He loves all of his teachers and always blows them kisses on the way out. He also had a health scare there and the staff was amazing. They even offered to come to the hospital with me since I was by myself and have since kept a close eye on my son. I feel like he is taken care of just as I would do at home or if I had a family member watching him and that means the world to me. When he had a slight fever the other day, they called me right away and by the time I got there he was up in the directors office with both the director and the assistant direction taking special care of him! Again they went above and beyond and Nayana the Director offer to help me in any way that she could. My son runs into the room each morning and is always happy when I get him at the end of each day so I would say he is happy going there and playing.”
“Happy Faces is truly like family to us. We have been here for 4 years! We have a 4.5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son that have been going there since they were infants. What attracted us to Happy Faces was the small, “homey” feel that you don’t get at a large center, the structure that Ms. Nayana believes in, and the loving teachers and management. I love that we can take the kids, drop them off and not worry a bit about what’s going on, who they are with, or what they are doing. It’s so refreshing and comforting as parents to have that trust in a daycare center. Every teacher we have come in contact over the years has been wonderful and we have always felt that they genuinely love our kids! Ms. Nayana hires only the best and has very high standards for the employees she brings in. What more can you ask for!”
“Unfortunately our time has come to an end with Happy Faces, but only because we are relocating. I wish we could move them with us!! I only hope that the relationships that we have all developed with Ms. Nayana and the rest of the staff will be ones that we will continue to hold onto as our children grow. We will definitely be back for visits! I would (and will continue) to recommend Happy Faces to anyone looking for a one of a kind center in Centreville!”
“We have just moved our two-year old to a different (closer) school, but still enthusiastically recommend Happy Faces. Our son was a part-timer, but still enjoyed the full and affectionate attention of staff in a warm and supportive environment. Staff was exceptionally flexible with us about accommodating our schedule and working with us to transition him from the one- into the two-year old group. He had an extremely positive experience and made many friends. Happy Faces never had anything but my full confidence that he would be in safe and caring hands.”
“Our son enjoyed the first 3.5 years of his life with a wonderful in-home caregiver. The decision to switch to a daycare setting was hard, but necessary. We felt as though he needed structure to his day, social interactions with children his own age, and an age appropriate learning curriculum. We did online research and visited countless daycare centers. Nearly every location was the same- glassed display cases of overcrowded classrooms and stressed out teachers. We just didn’t feel comfortable anywhere. When we pulled into Happy Faces, which looks like a house, I felt a bit unsure about the place and a tad bit relieved at the same time.
Mrs. Nayana greeted our unexpected arrival with a warm welcome. She was pleasant, honest, and sincere. We could tell immediately that she genuinely believes in raising happy, healthy, well-mannered and educated children in a fun and safe environment. (Either that or she??s a good salesman! Kidding!) She cheerfully showed us around while also greeting and acknowledging each child by name. It was obvious that she loves each child in her program and they love her. We knew immediately that we could stop searching. Happy Faces felt like home.
We have been at Happy Faces now for about eight months. Our son has grown more than I ever imagined he would in such a short time. His vocabulary and speech have greatly improved; he’s enthusiastic about learning- writing, reading stories, solving puzzles; he wakes up every morning excited to see his friends and teachers (Ms. Alva, Ms. Tamara, Ms. Amanda- and formerly Mrs. Jessica). We could not be happier with our decision to place the start of our child’s future in the hands of Mrs. Nayana’s wonderful team of dedicated and loving professionals.”

“We’ve had our daughter enrolled at Happy Faces for 2 years and absolutely love it. When I arrive at night to pick her up, I usually have to drag her out of there, because she is having so much fun playing. At one point, we had decided to bring her to a school closer to our home, for logistical reasons only. After one week at another school, we brought her back to Happy Faces. Happy faces is clean, organized, scheduled and loving. I feel comfortable knowing that my baby girl is being taken care of by such great people.”

“We LOVE Happy Faces and are sad to leave, but we can’t take Ms. Nayana and her whole center.
Our son has been at HF since he was six weeks old and now he is almost 2 and a half! He loves going to “school” and seeing all of his friends. Despite some tears on grumpy mornings, the staff are always cheerful and determined to set him at ease with spending the day at HF. I have never seen a child at HF that is screaming as if he can’t stand to be there -as I’ve witnessed at other day The staff is caring and friendly, and genuinely concerned with the welfare of the children. When he was an infant, I got calls during the day to simply give an update of how he was doing, especially if he was teething or recovering from a cold or whatnot.
Ms. Nayana and her staff work hard at making everyone involved comfortable with the daycare situation, which can be hard for first time parents who both work. We’ve never had a moment’s unease leaving our son in the care of HF. Our son loves it there too because he always says “bye friends!” with a huge grin and high 5’s when we pick him up at the end of the day.”

“It is hard to believe that 4 years have gone by as it seems like yesterday when we brought our son to the new infant wing when he was 4 months old. We have grown up at Happy Faces and have always felt safe and secure leaving our son when we went to work. He has developed positive relationships with the teachers and made lots of friends; which will be a building block for him throughout his life. We are sad to leave as we are moving to the next step in his education. We wish you and your school many years of positively affecting children’s lives as you have done.”
